Every woman deserves to feel confident, strong, and safe – whether walking through Seattle’s neighborhoods, commuting to work, or traveling around the city.

This women’s self-defense class in Seattle gives you practical tools and skills to avoid risky situations and protect yourself if needed.

In this class, you’ll learn and practice simple yet highly effective moves that are proven to work and can be adapted to any body type, age, or fitness level. We’ll also cover:

  • De-escalation techniques to help you recognize and diffuse unsafe situations before they escalate
  • Boundary-setting practices to strengthen your voice and presence
  • Strikes and counter-attacks that prepare you to defend yourself and move through the world with more confidence

Your instructor, Gaëlle Sabben, is a certified Tsun Jo instructor and Women’s Self-Defense Specialist at Greenlake Martial Arts.
