Part 1: From Practice to Purpose

You’ve completed your training. You’ve felt the spark. And now you’re asking: What’s next?

Maybe you’re fresh out of yoga teacher training and unsure how to begin.
Maybe you’ve been teaching for years but crave more clarity, direction, or inspiration.
Or maybe you’ve worked in the wellness world and want to step out on your own, building offerings that truly reflect your voice.

From Practice to Purpose is the first part of the Build What Matters mentorship series. Designed for yoga teachers and wellness facilitators, this program is not another certification. It’s personalized guidance, accountability, and real-world tools to help you refine your teaching, grow your confidence, and step into your purpose.

Through this mentorship, you will:

  • Refine your teaching voice and presence
  • Build confidence leading yoga classes, workshops, or wellness events
  • Create offerings that align with your values and purpose
  • Learn practical strategies for growing your student base and building a sustainable wellness business

Two pathways are available:

  • 1 Month Intensive
Starting at $1,111, includes weekly or twice-weekly sessions (Zoom or in-person at Datza Studios), one session with a specialized expert (e.g., voice coach, energy healer), and unlimited access to Datza Studios yoga classes (in person & livestream).  Early Bird: save $250 by Sept 8. Installment plans available.
  • 6 Month Deep Dive

Datza Tamane  Mentor, Teacher, Studio Owner

I’ve been teaching and guiding for over a decade, and for the past seven years I’ve poured my energy into building Datza Studios – a yoga wellness studio in Seattle that’s become a home for movement, mindfulness, and connection.

Before opening the studio, I worked in private companies, franchises, and government organizations in both Latvia and the U.S. That background gave me a wide perspective on people, culture, and leadership – experience I now draw on as I create and lead events, corporate wellness programs, private sessions, team-building experiences, and mini-retreats.

My approach is layered: blending yoga philosophy, the wisdom of Chinese medicine and Ayurveda, and a deep respect for the seasons of nature and the seasons of life. I believe every person is different and deserves a unique approach – and yet, when we come together as a group, the role of a teacher is to feel the room, lead with presence, and guide with honesty.

I’m known for keeping it real – fun, exciting, and unafraid to tell the truth. For me, teaching is not about performing; it’s about serving. And being able to serve is such a gift – one we all have, if we’re willing to find our voice and keep showing up, practice after practice.
