As the seasons shift, our bodies and minds naturally crave new rhythms. Join us for a 2-hour experiential workshop exploring Ayurveda – the ancient science of life and holistic well-being, a sister science of Yoga.
Designed for complete beginners and those curious to deepen their practice, this session will help you understand your personal dosha (mind-body type) and discover practical tools to restore balance during fall, the Vata season.
Through guided discussion, simple practices, and take-home resources, you’ll learn how to:
– Identify your dominant dosha and notice when it’s out of balance
– Support yourself with seasonal food, lifestyle, and self-care rituals
– Create a personalized “mini fall balance plan” to ground and nourish your daily life
You’ll leave with a printed handout featuring dosha basics, fall wellness tips and a wellness gift, and space for your own notes – plus inspiration to weave Ayurveda into your routine with ease.
A great fit for anyone seeking natural ways to stay grounded, nourished, and energized this season.
This Fall Ayurvedic Sync Workshop is not clinical or diagnostic. Rather, it’s an invitation to explore simple, seasonal self-care practices through the lens of Ayurveda. You’ll learn how to gently assess your constitution, support your body and mind through the fall season, and reconnect with ancient practices that meet modern lifestyle with easy to follow routines.
Facilitator: Kamalakshi Satre
Kamalakshi was first introduced to Ayurveda through her mother’s nurturing, home-based practices, but it was her own experience with health challenges that deepened her journey. After being diagnosed with certain ailments, she began to explore Ayurveda more seriously, not as a quick fix, but as a long-term path toward balance and wellbeing.
Though not formally trained in Ayurvedic medicine, she and her family have worked closely with trusted Ayurvedic doctors over the years, learning how to implement foundational principles – such as daily routines, seasonal eating, and lifestyle alignment based on body type (dosha).
Kamalakshi is also a certified Hatha Yoga teacher, and her approach blends movement and mindfulness with the wisdom of nature’s rhythms.
