As the days grow shorter and the air turns crisp, we often feel an inner shift. This is the essence of Vata season in Ayurveda – a time defined by the energy of wind and movement. When this energy rises in the natural world, it can manifest within us as an unsettled mind, restless sleep, joint pain, dry skin, or irregular digestion.
While this shift can sometimes leave us feeling unsteady, it is also a natural invitation to ground ourselves. Fortunately, Ayurveda offers simple, time-honored ways to bring us into balance.
Join Michele in this class designed to help you move through the fall season feeling deeply rooted, replenished, and warmed from the inside out.
Over the course of our time together, we’ll explore:
- Movement: A slow, centering yoga practice designed for the season, with an emphasis on calming the nervous system, releasing tension from the hips and spine, and connecting with the breath as a steady anchor.
- Nourishment: Ayurvedic principles to maintain vitality through warming seasonal foods, soothing self-care rituals, and daily habits that create stability as the season deepens.
What you’ll leave with:
A short home practice and a few simple, nourishing rituals to return to all season long — so that when the world outside is blustery and unpredictable, you have something steady to come back to. You’ll leave feeling nourished and centered with a deeper sense of what brings you back into balance.
