Over the past years, Kevin R Lynch and Sam Rus have been cultivating Thai Yin Yoga, and they’re excited to share this deeply nourishing, restorative practice with the Seattle community. We’re honored to welcome them from Cleveland and to help carry this work into new cities – creating space for connection through healing movement, supported stillness, and intentional touch.
Sink into a 2-hour, deeply restorative Yin flow that blends the stillness of Yin yoga with the nurturing touch of Thai-inspired, hands-on assists. This experience invites you to slow down, soften, and receive – supporting the body’s natural capacity for release and renewal.
What Is Thai Massage?
Thai Massage is often referred to as “lazy person’s yoga.” It’s a holistic, dynamic form of bodywork that blends acupressure, energy line (sen) work, joint mobilization, assisted stretching, yoga-inspired postures, and deep fascial release.
Rather than something you do, Thai Massage is something you receive. For many, it becomes a profoundly therapeutic experience – supporting relaxation, mobility, nervous system regulation, and a renewed sense of ease in the body.
What to Expect?
- A thoughtfully crafted Yin sequence designed to gently open fascia and joints
- Generous use of props (bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps) to support the body in each shape
- Skilled, intentional assists from Master teachers Kevin & Sam Rus to encourage ease, alignment, and deeper release

Instructor
Kevin R Lynch & Sam Rus
Lynch Advanced Bodyworks was founded by Kevin R. Lynch, whose intuitive calling to heal and therapeutically support others began in childhood. At just ten years old, Kevin created his first massage menu of services—an early expression of a lifelong path devoted to bodywork, learning, and hands-on healing. Largely self-taught in his early years, he eventually formalized his training by attending massage therapy school and has continued to expand his education ever since. Kevin has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Ohio since 2004 and is an advanced Thai massage therapist trained through the Shivagakomarpaj lineage of the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai, Thailand. His continuing education includes trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and reflexology, and he is a professional member of the Association of Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). In 2014, Kevin became a Nationally Certified Continuing Education Provider through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). Over the past eight years, his primary focus has been the deep study and embodiment of Traditional Thai Massage, including advanced and master-level trainings, as well as extended time spent in Thailand immersing himself in Thai culture, spiritual traditions, and classical medicine. Kevin has also studied the history and theory of Asian and Thai medicine with Dr. C. Pierce Salguero, PhD. In 2012, during his travels in Thailand, he was introduced to the SVG School of Thai Massage, where he was ceremonially welcomed into their lineage and family of practitioners. He later earned his Master-level Advanced Certification under Master Parawat Poungpiam. Additional certifications include Tok Sen with Master Boonchu of the Hang Dong School of Thai Massage; Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage) Levels I & II; Herbal Compress Massage through Ong’s School of Thai Massage; and Flying Massage, completed in Germany under the instruction of Tobias Frank. With over 20 years of professional practice and more than 13,000 hands-on client hours, Kevin has worked with a wide range of clients, including professional and Olympic athletes, Broadway touring productions, MLB umpires, and for the past 10 years, members of The Cleveland Orchestra. He has taught Level 1 and Level 2 Thai Massage trainings throughout the United States, Germany, and Switzerland. Through his Thai massage education and holistic approach to bodywork, Kevin offers clients a deeply integrative healing experience. He believes that “Thai massage can positively affect all layers of the self—physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual.” Kevin maintains a private, referral-based practice and teaches advanced bodywork and Traditional Thai Massage courses both nationally and internationally. He also keeps a home in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where he spends three to four months each year continuing his studies, refining his practice, and staying connected to the evolving landscape of Thai massage and culture.
