Fundamentals of Inversions and Arm Balances – Thursday, April 25

Join Elizabeth and Datza for an evening of learning the basics of inversions and arm balances! We will break down the postures into accessible steps helping you build the confidence to try on something new. Demonstrations, step-by-step instruction and hands on assistance and props will help you find the best way to try on Crow, Side-Crow, Birds of Paradise, Firefly, Tripod Headstand and Baby Grasshopper. We will focus on foundation, safe alignment, and how to incorporate these fun and challenging postures into your regular yoga practice. We will start class by flowing to warm up the body then add in core work and wrist stretching to get ready for going upside down and balancing on your hands. Come hang out with a great community of yogis and try something new!

Let’s Get Upside-Down – Friday, May 10

Join Elizabeth and Emily for an evening of getting upside down with inversions! We will break down the postures into accessible steps helping you build the confidence to try on something new. Demonstrations, step-by-step instruction and hands on assistance and props will help you find the best way to try on Headstand (Both Tripod and Traditional), Shoulder Stand/ Legs up the Wall, Wheel, Forearm Stand, and Handstand. We will focus on foundation, safe alignment, and how to incorporate these fun and challenging postures into your regular yoga practice. We will start class by flowing to warm up the body and get ready to go upside down. Come hang out with a great community of yogis and try something new!

Building on the Basics: An Inversion and Arm Balance Workshop – Thursday, May 30

Join Elizabeth and Datza for an evening of inversions and arm balances! We will break down the postures into accessible steps helping you build the confidence to try on something new. This is a great class to build on the postures we learned in the Fundamentals Workshop. Demonstrations, step-by-step instruction and hands on assistance and props will help you find the best way to try on Crow/One-legged Crow, Fallen Angel, Peacock, Eight Angle Pose, and Full Grasshopper. We will focus on foundation, safe alignment, and how to incorporate these fun and challenging postures into your regular yoga practice. We will start class by flowing to warm up the body then add in core work and wrist stretching to get ready for going upside down and balancing on your hands. Come hang out with a great community of yogis and try something new!
