Emotions – Rasas of Yoga

In Indian aesthetics, a rasa (Sanskrit: रस) literally means “nectar, essence or taste”. The Tantric tradition recognizes 9 Rasas that represent our basic emotions: love, humor, wonder, courage, calmness, anger, sadness, fear, and disgust. Join us in a series of community Sadhana’s to explore movement in theme with these 9 emotions of yoga!

Meet Isha – Influenced by her journey of navigating life away from home, Isha is deeply passionate about inclusivity and diversity of the mental, emotional and physical in a yoga space. With over 7 years of experience practicing yoga in India, Dubai and the US, she brings with her deep studentship and hope to inculcate love and respect for the art and lineage of yoga, and al that it encompasses.
