Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy course with Nickole & Datza: part 1 The Meditation, September 23, 6:00-8:00pm

The science of life, Ayurveda has its roots in India and dates over 5,000 years. This honored art of healing can bring forth positive transformation in one’s life. Ayurveda has developed a natural approach to remedy different stages of our existence, by observing each individual as a whole. Ayurveda looks for the root of the problem, not just the symptom. Allow Ayurveda and Yoga to assist your body, mind, and spirit in a state of harmony, vitality, balance, strength, and mental clarity.

In this class you will be provided with several techniques to quite the mind, reduce stress, increase your bodies vibration though the use of mediation and different pranyamas (breath exercises). These methods create balance to the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Allow mediation to open the door to your intuitive knowledge and realms of eternal bliss.

You will leave with an established foundation on how to access your sacred space, tap into magnetic vibrations with in a room and your own unique bodies system. Divine energy will begin to freely flow and have a direct effect on the mind, nerves, sense organs, and body.

The intention of the course materials covered in each class is to deeply enrich your life with a strong understanding and practical application of traditional Ayurvedic wisdom and sister science Yoga. NW Ayurveda’s aspiration is Prevention, Longevity, Healthy Body, Mind, & Digestion. All of the classes are designed to address various levels of knowledge, interest and skill.

Guest teacher: Nickole Thornton Gonzales is the founder of NW Ayurveda in Seattle, Washington. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner for Eighteen Years, Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Ritual Facilitator. Nickole travels to various Yoga and Ayurvedic centers across the United States and Mexico Adventures providing Lectures, Workshops, Retreats, Consultations, and Panchakarma.

Nickole was pulled to her dharma in 1996, when she began her yogic practice with the principles in Iyengar and attended the Sivananada Ashram in San Francisco, CA for Satsang. She had an awaking and embraced her life’s purpose to be of service to people and community, which lead her to Ayurveda. Nickole graduated under the teachings of Dr. Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she was employed in the Panchakarma department for eight years. With her back round in Ayurveda she has studied Ayur Yoga with teachers Chitra Giauque and Bethelya Anuradha at The Ayurvedic Institute. In November of 2008, Nickole attended the Sivananda Ashram in Neyyar Dam, India where she attained Sivanada Yoga certification. While in India, she also attended the Guru Kula program to study Advance Ayurvedic Assessments with Dr. Vasant Lad.
