The single greatest human health threat today is stress. Sound Healing affects the parasympathetic nervous system which resets our flight or fight response (triggered on a daily basis by everything from traffic jams to office politics).

Sound is energy that travels as a wave.  When the body is healthy and balanced the internal frequency of our body (internal organs, systems etc.) is healthy and balanced.  When the body is unwell, we are out of sink or in a state of disharmony -we are in dissonance.

Focusing on our Chakra centers and causing them to vibrate releases nitric oxide targeting specific pain and underlying health issues. Sonic waves stimulate the lymphatic system, release melatonin (stimulating the pineal gland), release powerful antioxidants that supporting immune health, and release endorphins such as those we receive when we are active, excited and joyful.

Healing Harmony uses drums and Himalayan singing bowls handcrafted with intention in Nepal. The singing bowls are placed on or around the body and played by striking or rubbing each bowl to produce sound. These sounds vibrate our physical bodies at the cellular level and restore us to a natural state of harmony and balance by bringing us back into “tune”.

Meet the facilitators

Heather Mullin

Heather has always been passionate about music and the healing properties of sound and mindfulness.  In 2021 she created Healing Harmony in response to the emerging health crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Healing Harmony was formed as a direct result of her own healing journey and her calling to heal others.

Healing Harmony was born out of her healing journey through surgery, pain and recovery.  This journey brought her back home to her decades long practice of meditation, mindfulness, and music.

Heather received a BA in Music from the University of Washington and completed post-graduate studies in vocal performance at New York University. She has performed with elite vocal ensembles in Japan and throughout the Pacific Northwest including the Seattle Opera. She is a certified sound therapist and life long meditator.
