Find a sense of peace and calm in this Virtual Yoga Project edition of Abstract Art & Yoga! It’s in the Process.
Get creative with us and set your intention! It’s in the Process. As we become more connected to our yoga practice, we learn it’s the process that’s important, not necessarily the end result. Art can be another place to explore this by not attaching to an expected outcome, but just letting the creativity flow.
In this session, we will start with a longer 15 minute meditation to clear our minds and tap into the creative side of our brains. We will then move between our art and grounding yoga sets allowing space to step away from what we have created.
Great to do with teenagers and virtually with friends as well.
Register at least 1h before the session via https://datzastudios.pike13.com/e/119384554.
Link to the live streaming will be sent to you 30 min before the session.
Elizabeth usually teaches this workshop with watercolor (and can provide some paints and papers to be picked up at the studio) but any art supplies will work! Elizabeth will put together packages of Daniel Smith paint samples and Arches Watercolor paper for $10 to pick up at the studio by Wednesday, April 8. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange payment for the painting set & pick up. You can also use your own.
