Body Electric with Carie & Datza: CBD infused session, November 30, 6:00-7:30pm

The workshop will begin with a short presentation led by Carie Martin, licensed Acupuncturist and VP of sales for Radical Roots Herbs (www.radicalrootherbs.com) Started by an Carie’s classmate, an Acupuncturist and Herbalist who is a mom to a special needs son, nothing on the market met her standards for purity, potency, or environmental sustainability so she formulated a line of products to meet the need. These tinctures combine high-quality beyond organically-grown hemp with Chinese Herbal formulas to activate the power and potential of each of the ingredients.

To start, Carie will talk about the central nervous system, and how CBD helps the relaxation response. She will also share her wisdom about the plant (and its healing powers) restorative-growth farming and extraction techniques, the Chinese herbal formulas (and centuries of Chinese Herbal medicine) and the uses for the different products. Radical Roots Herbs tinctures will be available to sample during the discussion.

After the presentation we will move into the active part of the workshop. Datza will lead us in a 40-min Flow & Roll session, incorporating breath work, Earth-Bound gentle yoga flow, and myofascial release with props. The last 20 min of our workshop will be guided by Carie, spent in quiet yin yoga postures and meditative silence to help you further relax into a state of bliss.

Expect to leave with a better understanding of your body’s endocannabinoid system, how CBD impacts it + how you can uncover ease in your life.
After class, Carie & Datza will be happy to answer any extra questions you may have! Products will be available to purchase. This class is for all levels of Yogis. No Yoga or CBD experience required.

Natural and supernatural, this journey has been humbling, joyous, exhilarating, and painful, and I love to share the magic of the human experience with my students and patients.
The practice of yin yoga, or becoming attuned to your inner environment, can help to cultivate a sense of wonder for your remarkable existence. Together we will explore the miracle of the here and now through the principles of Chinese Medicine and the wisdom of our bodies.
