As we become more connected to our yoga practice, we learn the practice is more than just postures. It’s a process of learning how we can better support ourselves and interact with the outside world. As humans we are constantly creating, sustaining, and destroying different aspects of ourselves as we continue to evolve. Abstract art can be another place to explore an evolution of ourselves through a creative process that does not attach to an expected outcome.

In this workshop, we will invoke abstract art in a unique way by creating our own paints from organic materials including fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. We will sustain a sense of peace with gentle yoga and guided meditation to find a calmer mindset while enjoying the art we have created, and we will destroy or rather repurpose the left over materials and paper (we will be providing a unique wildflower paper for this workshop) by planting them and allowing new fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs to grow.
